Pen Vs Sword: The Reboot

Third time is the charm they say! The Shire of Angels Keep proudly presents the Return of "Pen vs. Sword: the Seventh of that Name" Keep in mind that the Pens had defeated the Swords for 6 years in a row before the coming of the dread plague, so come show your stuff at a full day of classes for both the scibally-inclined and the dances-with-swords crowd!


Pen vs Sword will be held at the Auburn United Methodist Church, 99 South St, Auburn, NY 13021. The site opens at 9am, classes will start at 10am, and will close at 8pm..


We will again be offering a full day of classes featuring two distinct tracks: one for the scribal arts, and another for the science of the sword.  Those interested in teaching should contact Lady Fenris (Victoria Sampson) ladyfenris AT verizon.net or 315-258-9049.  A full list of classes and class schedule will be available on our website.

  
Kingdom policy permitting, a soup and sandwich dayboard will be provided.  Reservations are encouraged so we can plan for how much food to cook, without generating a lot of waste.

Event Steward is Moniczka Poznanska (Martha Powers), 33 S Lewis St, Auburn, NY 13021. 315-515-3086, no calls after 10pm please. Reservations can be mailed to the Event Steward. Please make checks payable to SCANY, Inc - Shire of Angels Keep. Cost will be $18 for the day, $13 for members. Preregistration is required at this time.

Directions to the Auburn United Methodist Church, 99 South St, Auburn, NY  13021:
From North, West or East, find your best route to I-90, the Weedsport/Hwy 34 exit.  Follow Hwy 34 south into Auburn, the church will be on the right-hand side of the road. Hwy 34 is South Street once you cross Arterial.  From the South, find your best route to Hwy 34, go north into Auburn, the church will be on the left side of the road.
